Kaip plauti automobilį su keramine danga
Plovimo būdas yra svarbiausias priežiūros aspektas. Netinkamas plovimas greitai sunaikina hidrofobinį efektą.
Naudokite dviejų kibirų metodą
Vienas kibiras skirtas švariam šampūno tirpalui, kitas — kempinei skalauti. Taip purvas nepatenka atgal ant kėbulo ir nesibraižo danga. Rinkitės pH neutralius automobilių šampūnus — rūgštinės ar šarminės priemonės ardo keraminį sluoksnį.
Venkite automatinių plovyklų su šepečiais
Sukamieji šepečiai palieka mikroįbrėžimus ir trina dangą. Jei naudojate plovyklą, rinkitės bekontaktę.
Taisyklė paprasta: kuo švelniau plaunate, tuo ilgiau veikia danga. Keraminė danga sumažina priežiūros poreikį, bet jo nepanaikina.
Periodinis atnaujinimas

Ko nedaryti niekada
- Nenaudokite buitinių valiklių ar indų ploviklio — jie ardo keraminį sluoksnį.

A ceramic coating is one of the best investments you can make in your car's looks and paint protection. It forms a hard, hydrophobic layer that shields the paint from UV rays, chemicals, dirt and micro-scratches. But a coating isn't a "set and forget" solution — proper care decides whether the effect lasts a few months or several years.
The first 24–48 hours after application
Right after the coating is applied, the curing process begins. During this window the layer is especially sensitive, so it's important to:
- Keep the car dry for at least 48 hours — rain or washing can mark the uncured layer.
- Avoid parking under trees where sap or bird droppings can fall.
- Stay out of dusty conditions until the surface has fully hardened.
How to wash a ceramic-coated car
Your washing method is the single most important part of maintenance. The wrong technique quickly destroys the hydrophobic effect.
Use the two-bucket method
One bucket for clean shampoo solution, one for rinsing your mitt. This keeps dirt from going back onto the paint and scratching the coating. Choose pH-neutral car shampoos — acidic or alkaline products break down the ceramic layer.
Avoid brush car washes
Rotating brushes leave micro-scratches and wear down the coating. If you use a car wash, choose a touchless one.
The rule is simple: the gentler you wash, the longer the coating works. Ceramic reduces the need for maintenance, but it doesn't remove it.
Periodic top-ups
Even the best-maintained coating gradually loses some of its properties. Every 6–12 months it's worth using a ceramic "topper" (an SiO2 spray sealant) to restore the hydrophobic effect and extend the coating's life. You'll find products like these at our partner Revon.
What never to do
- Don't use household cleaners or dish soap — they strip the ceramic layer.
- Don't leave bird droppings or bugs on the paint — the acids can etch in.
- Don't wash the car in heat or direct sun — it leaves water spots.
